Musée chinois
Between 1912 and 1927, 4,000 young Chinese arrived in France as part of the Labour-Studies association. Republican China hopes that its youth will be able to train in western democratic ideas and learn many skills. The movement was in full swing in 1919 and 1920. But the mistreatment of China by the Westerners, the emergence of new ideas and the echo of the Russian Revolution make young Chinese tempted by communist ideology. Montargis became the center of this new current with Cai Heisen, then Deng Xioping. The Musée historique de l'amitié franco-chonoise recalls this history.
