This tile factory was built in the 19th century. It is the tile factory of the hamlet "Bottle", which operated from 1869 to 1914\. A vein of clay was found during the diking of the Loire around 1850\. The proximity of water and river transport made possible the creation of the tile factory. The brick kiln, dated 1869, was built by a mason from Saint-Benoît-sur-Loire.
