Châtellenie
It was built in the thirteenth century under the reign of Philippe Auguste according to the latest improvements in military art reported from the Crusades. A round path allows you to walk on the courtines and, from the top of the towers, one embraces a vast panorama of the Beauce, the Gâtinais and the edges of the forest of Orléans. In the courtyard of the castle, botanical squares present 150 aromaatic, medicinal and tinctorial plants. Meanwhile, in one of the towers, a film projected in a loop evokes the history of the fortresses and the village.
