The Direction de l'archéologie de la Ville et Chartres métropole is partnering with the Association de la Commune Libre Saint-Brice for an animation around the Abbayes Saint-Brice and its cloister.

Groups limited to 19 people. Same day registration on the site of the shrine of Saint-Martin-au-Val, located next door. Visits on Saturday at 2.30pm, 3.30pm, 4.30pm, 5.00pm and on Sunday at 10.30am, 11.30pm, 2.30pm, 3.30pm, 4.30pm and 5.00pm.

At the end of this visit, the members of the Association de la commune Libre Saint-Brice will propose on Saturday a presentation of the tombs installed at the bedside of the church before leading you to a discovery of the cellar of the Val-Saint-Martin, in the basement of the Abbey.

The period of construction of the church is the 12th and 15th centuries as well as the 19th century. The building has been classified as a historical monument since 1886\. It is located in the former Saint-Brice hospital in Chartres.
