By their quality and their diversity, the works produced in Paris during this period, the "Great Century", show that the city of Paris has then acquired an unquestionable status of cultural capital on a European scale: it attracts the best engravers, from Lorraine, the former Netherlands, Italy... The exhibition presents a significant selection chosen within the rich graphic fonds of the Centre François-Garnier (Silvestre, Pérelle, Callot, Mérian...).
