The church of Saint-Denis - Coulanges - in the commune of Valloire-sur-Cisse is a building that was extensively renovated in the sixteenth and nineteenth centuries. The architecture of this monument is therefore very basic. The building consists of a nave on the south side and a choir with a flat bedside. The furniture listed as a historical monument inside the church is admirable. A set of sixteen 15th century carved wooden stalls comes from the former Abbey of Guiche, which is known for its particularly rich furniture. It was restored at different times, thanks to the generosity of patrons: end of the 19th century, the Trafford family, which marked its imprint, on the stained glass windows, the furniture... then more recently by various other patrons who helped to save it. At the entrance of the church, a plaque is affixed in memory of Anne-Marie Bardon, benefactor of this church. The municipality of Coulanges started the complete renovation of the building in 2009.
