Former quarry then converted into an orchard, the site is mainly composed of dry lawns on limestone slab. A 1870 War Memorial has been installed there since 1894\. Among the most notable plant species present are the Scille d'automne, the Buplèvre du Mont Baldo, but also the Heliantheme with willow leaves, with Mediterranean affinity, of which it is only regional station. On the wildlife side, the Tortoise of the steppes, a rare butterfly in northern France, is also sheltered.
