Large construction of the XVth century, entirely in skeleton, the hall(market) of Luynes is a major building(ship) of the centre-market town. Built by the family of Gauze with the wood of recovery(recycling), the hall(market) includes a central nave of four spans and two asymmetrical sides. West span was destroyed in 1913 as well as annexed home which served as law courts to the duchy - peerage of Luynes. Halle(Halls,Markets) were listed(classified) in conformance with(for) Historic monuments in 1930\. The old wooden Les Halles were numerous enough in the past in Touraine, but had trend(tendency) to disappear with the appearance of the railroad which made exchanges easier.
