Visitors will discover the masterpieces, tools and souvenirs of the companions of the Tour de France. More than 400 masterpieces and models are on display, made by fellow carpenters, stonemasons, sabotiers, locksmiths, roofers, pastry chefs, etc. Many paintings, canes, ceramics, souvenirs, illustrate the importance of Compagnonnage in Touraine.

The museum of the trade guilds is done up since 1968 in the dormitory of the old(former) abbey Benedictine Saint Julien. He(It) gathers(collects) more than four hundred heads - of work realised by the companions(journeymen) of the Tour de France: carpenters, stony tailors(suits), ironworkers, shoemakers …
