Listed(Classified) in the World heritage of the humanity, the cathedral of Chartres kept(preserved) its 176 stained-glass windows (of the environment(middle) of the XIIth century and of the beginning of the XIIIth century mostly) and its 9 sculpted portals(gates). His(Her,Its) architecture, his(her,its) sculpted decoration(set) his(her,its) stained-glass windows manifest the passage of the Romanesque art in the Gothic art of the birth of a new humanism which will mark the Occident of the XIIth and XIIIth centuries.
