Eglise Saint-Gobrien
place du 8 mai 1945, 22400, Morieux
400 m2 of frescoes restored representing the religious life of the 11th in the 19th century. This church of Romance origin (the 11th end or the beginning of the 12th century), was extended in the 15th century (chorus(choir), north shoulder of the nave and south side door) and restored in the 19th century. The nave underwent not enough transformations since Romance time(period). She(It) contains wall paintings(paints) of the 12th, 13th and 15th centuries. Tracks of painted decoration(set), concealed by the skeleton of the belfry, are visible on the triumphal bow(arc). The inside, with its furniture, evokes devotions of the end of the 19th century.
