Chapelle de Sainte-Croix
11 rue Penquer, 22200, Guingamp
Near the former abbey of Sainte-Croix, the Saint-Joseph Chapel in Gothic Revival style was built between 1868 and 1871 under the direction of a Briochin architect. Tradition reports that an inhabitant of Sainte-Croix bequeathed at his death the sum of 5000 francs for the construction of a chapel placed under the invocation of Saint Joseph. The ochre granite facade is punctuated by tuffeau stones used to surround the bays, buttresses and bell tower.
