The chapel is dated 1586. The village of Maubran is a village of character whose construction of the oldest buildings begins at the end of the sixteenth century and continues during the seventeenth century. The site was already occupied in the Iron Age as evidenced by two hemispherical steles located in the village.
Inside four elements of the furniture are inscribed in the inventory of historical monuments. It is a statue of Our Lady of Liesse, a cross Christ, a canopy and an altar front.
