Nestled in its little green corner, overlooking the city, this pretty chapel rises on a very old site, as evidenced by a monolithic granite Romanesque cross erected nearby. The oldest archives attest to a Gallo-Roman presence and, perhaps, a fanum (temple). The site is Christianized by the construction of this chapel dedicated to Saint Roch, invoked to stop the plague. An epidemic ravaged the region in 1597. Its current modest architecture dates from the 18th century.
