This building was built in the 15th century thanks to the patronage of the Rohan family whose coat of arms is still visible in the main window.
In flamboyant Gothic style (with the exception of the bell tower), the Houssaye chapel retains exceptional quality furniture.
Listed as a historical monument, its altarpiece in polychrome limestone representing the scenes of the Passion is a major work of the Pontivyen heritage and more generally of religious art in Brittany.
