Exhibition of various operational units that make up the National Navy in Brest:
- The Operational Training of Surveillance and Territorial Information (FOSIT): Discovery of the job of semaphore spotter, and the mission of surveillance of maritime approaches.
- The Amyot d'Inville battalion: what are the missions of our marine fusiliers? What are their means?
Demonstration of a dog team at 2pm and 4pm on Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 September 2022. - The maritime gendarmerie group.
- The regional intervention and depiégage group: how they intervene to neutralize improvised explosive devices (stand only present on Saturdays)
The European Heritage Days weekend precedes the Sustainable Development Week. To launch this environmental week, the association «Bretagne Vivante» will be present in the courtyard of the castle with a multi-thematic stand: bird, insects, butterflies…
Ouessant sheep and eco-pasture will also be in the spotlight on Sunday, September 18, 2022
• Presence of Mr. Christophe Cillier who created a board game on rescue at sea in 2020: “Mission 196”.
Putting yourself in the shoes of a first responder, that’s what Mr. Cillier is proposing in his board game.
The purpose of the game? Perform missions on a board representing the Finisterian coast, going as fast as possible to gain the most points!
• Display of mock-ups on rescue at sea.
• Photo exhibition on the major sea events that marked the Finisterian coast.
• Presence of the Centre d'Information et de Recrutement des Forces Armées (CIRFA) to inform the general public about the various professions of the National Navy. - Visit of the Admiral’s Office, Commander Atlantic Maritime Zone, Maritime Prefect of the Atlantic (guided tour).
