Exhibition of embroidered tapestries of Brittany and embroideries of the world

Atelier d'Art Annaïg

In partnership with the association Locmelar-patrimony, theAnnaïg Art Workshop and the Bond-makers offer an exhibition of embroidery.
Annaïg exhibits some of her tapestries embroidered wool on linen (with painted faces).
The «Weavers of Ties», a project initiated by Annaïg and involving several groups in North Finistère (150 people), exhibit their tapestries
embroidered using the same technique.
A few embroiderers will work in the presence of visitors.
The exhibition also offers different embroidery of the world
(Africa, India, China, Morocco, Japan, etc.),
and the participation of the Maison du Filet Brodé plouenan
(Breton headgear, embroidered nets from Brazil)
L'Atelier d'Annaïg,les Tisseurs de liens et la Maison du Filet Brodé are listed in the inventory of intangible heritage of Brittany and national by Bretagne Culture Diversité
