Like consumer objects, works of art are often made of potentially polluting materials that can degrade and become obsolete.
What do we do then? Are there differences with the conservation problems of the ancient heritage? Can we always act? Do we throw the damaged artwork in the trash?
And if so, in which bin? In short, is art compatible with ecology?
All these questions will be addressed during this talk accessible to all, connoisseurs or not of contemporary art, by Gwénola Furic, curator-restorer of heritage, artist and curious*
