The Gray Theatre was built from 1847 to 1849 by the architect Jean-Baptiste Martin to replace the theatre rue de l'ancienne comédie with a capacity of 500 seats, it is a French theatre with an Italian stage.
It was inaugurated on 03 February 1849 and opened on 09 February.
Currently, the theatre hosts between 50 and 60 different activities a year, and more than 11,000 people attend it during cultural programming, as well as meetings offered by other structures or partners.
