Once home to powerful local families, Champlitte Castle is now home to the Museum of Folk Arts & Traditions. Presenting an overview of rural society at the dawn of the 20th century, this museum was founded by Albert and Félicie Demard in 1952. Passionate collectors, they created in the rooms of the castle reconstitutions allowing immersion in a village community where rites and popular beliefs rhymed time.
