The Maison de la Négritude et des Droits de l'Homme in Champagney(70) is a place of remembrance around the slavery of blacks and has its origins in the very history of the village. It recalls that the inhabitants of Champagney solemnly condemned the slavery of the Blacks in article 29 of their complaints written on March 19, 1789. Around this visionary text is elaborated a detailed and educational presentation of the history of this form of slavery that lasted nearly 4 centuries. The House of Negritude is also open to the topicality of Human Rights. Several guided tours are offered: on Saturday at 4pm, on Sunday at 10h15 and 14h on registration at 03.84.23.25.45. The temporary exhibition "It is at this price that you eat sugar" is also to discover. It is accompanied by educational and playful tools on the theme of colony products. Animations around this theme will also take place on Sunday, September 18 as part of the gourmet market at the Salle des Fêtes in Champagney.
