This 15th century castle was rebuilt during the 19th century by its owners, Joseph and Elise de La Roche Nully, who called upon the architect Maurice Ouradou, son-in-law of Viollet-le-Duc. Elise de la Roche Nully is the daughter of the Living Empire General Jean Brunet Denon, whom his uncle, the famous Living Denon took with him to the countryside of Egypt when he was only 16 years old. The current owners, Henri de Fleurieu and his family, ensure family continuity in direct line, the La Roche Nully having only one daughter, Viva who married Edouard de Fleurieu. This romantic complex consists of a brick castle in L, troubadour style, and common surrounded by water moats spanned by 6 bridges all different. An orangery, a cooler and various buildings dedicated to the garden are still visible today.
