The Dijon association Interface has unveiled its new «hors-les-murs» programme, an in situ work by Daniel Buren located in the garden of the regional headquarters of the Bank of France in Dijon, entitled «Point de vue ascendant, travail in situ».

In 2015, the garden of the Bank of France opened up to passers-by from the rue des Godrans in Dijon. The old blind wall has been replaced by a high grid through which the interrogations, imagination and admiration of the viewers can be projected. The wooded park with, in the background, the beautiful Hotel de la Toison, built in the seventeenth century, with its neo-classical facade and its remarkable roof with glazed tiles are as many visual points of attachment for the passerby, which can only be projected mentally into this inaccessible place, from a point of view both real and distant.
