At the foot of the hill of Thil, the village of Vic-sous-Thil dominated by the old castle 'the spy of the Auxois' and its collegiate church. The parish church whose construction dates back to the twelfth century was placed under the name of Saint-Jean-Baptiste. Inside: a mural painting of the second half of the sixteenth century depicting St.Nicholas, a painting of the seventeenth 'Virgin of the Rosary surrounded by joyful, painful and glorious mysteries'. The statuary: Saint John the Evangelist of the 14th century and Sainte-Barbe of the 15th century.
