Visit commented by the Heritage & Sharing association. The church is located a little away from the village, still surrounded by its old cemetery. It was originally only a chapel connected to the monastery of Preux by the Way of the Dead. The pillars are built with the same sandstone, rare in the region, that can be found on all four sides of the monastery of Preux. According to some archaeologists, only the Romans knew how to work a rock of such hardness and this is perhaps one of the mysteries of the «Old Castle» of the Silver Forest since it would have been demolished to rebuild Preux at that time. The rest of this small building is made of flint. Its unique and curved portal dating from the twelfth century is framed by two small columns and preceded by a framed porch (a caquetoire) of a rather picturesque effect. Some 13th century lancets are also noteworthy. Inside, a single vaulted nave panelled in wood is dominated by a slate bell tower.
