Come discover the history(story) of the Funicular railway of Bregille, register on Historic monuments, across the visit of the low station. Permanent exhibition of panels(signs) presenting the history(story) of the site, technical characteristics. Come sit down in the cabin of the Funicular railway and go back in time!
Further to, the association " Les Amis du Funiculaire " proposes you of guided tours on Saturday, 21st and Sunday, September 22nd, in low station, as well as a visit of the machinery of the Funicular railway in high station. Animations aimed at(bound for) the young audience are also proposed along the railway!

The funicular railway of Beauregard-Bregille, recently registered on Historic monuments (the low station and the car was restored in 2007), is a funicular railway and a tramline imagined from 1899 by the industrialist bisontin Émile inhabitant of Picardy. The line was intended(designed) to transport the persons having hydrotherapy of the Baths of Mouillère on the heights of the from the Franche-Comté capital. Inaugurated in 1912, the line connected(bound) the bottom(stocking) and the top of the hill of Bregille and was fast adopted(accepted) by the inhabitants of the tray(plateau) to go(surrender) in town. With ups and downs, the line will work until 1987\.
