Free visit of the Olympe de Gouges media library
The magnificent building, city hall and library, built in 1725 by Germain Boffrand, has been rehabilitated, rejuvenated and expanded into a friendly, welcoming space where new, redesigned services are offered, based on 21st century technologies. It hosts the activities of the Department of Architecture and Heritage Animation and houses the entire media library offering books, CDs and DVDs for all ages. With a toy library, a new space dedicated to games, the set is completely complete and offers leisure, information and training activities. With its multimedia spaces, reading rooms, press rooms and rooms dedicated to toddlers, the family library, the place of exhibition and plastic art and, with its 40,000 books, CDs and DVDs, the Joigny media librarycultural lighthouse in our department.
