Since 1971, they are the seat(siege) of the Regional Cultural Affairs Directorate.

Built respectively in 1740 and 1787, both dividing Chartraire de Montigny hotels and of the Military governor were grouped(included) by Marc-Antoine II Chartraire, count de Montigny, general paying treasurer of the States of Bourgogne which will become in 1790 the first mayor of Dijon. They knew several owners, then, before receiving in 1887 the Saint François de Sales school. Since 1971, they are the seat(siege) of the Regional Cultural Affairs Directorate. The portal(gate) of the number 39 of the street Basketry is due to the Dijon sculptor Claude Holy Father, the facade of the number 41 of the street Basketry is of his son the architect Charles Holy Father. These two hotels testify two conceptions(designs) of the mansion with a hotel still opened on the street (n°39) and other one between court(yard) and garden (n°41) developing only a blind facade. Facades receive a programme sculpted with trophies of weapons on both(all) sides of the front wall(pediment) of roofing and two groups sculpted of march and Surgical collar, due to the sculptor Jean-Jacques Morgand. These two facades made the object of maintenance works between 2012 and 2015 aiming at cleaning of facing, in limited(punctual) stony change, in restoration(catering) of sculpted works having affected(allocated) by riot structural and colonized by microorganisms and putting in painting(paint) of all the joineries(joiner's workshops). Staircase of honour with decoration(set) dated of 1783.
