Projection at L'Arc du Creusot,
Documentary film directed by the association La Baraque (web TV associative) devoted to the events of 1983 and 1984 Au Creusot. This film of collecting memories, retraces these events through the testimonies of the main political actors and trade unionists of the time, it is illustrated with many personal archives of the actors, but also of unpublished photographic and sound archives.
All the testimonies relate the end of Creusot-Loire as well as the bankruptcy of this jewel of the mechanical and metallurgical industry and the struggle of its workers to safeguard their work. At the time, this bankruptcy and the plan to resume operations and retrain employees were unprecedented.
This immersive evening in the history of the factory city, from the dynasty of the Schneider family, is offered in partnership with the city of Le Creusot, the CCM Ecomuseum and the Arc scène nationale.
