Pascal Michelot stammt aus dem Bergbaugebiet und widmet sich seit fast 20 Jahren der Arbeit mit Perlmutt.

Pascal Michelot
Was ihn besonders interessiert, ist das Perlmutt der Muscheln und nur von natürlicher Farbe: schwarzes Perlmutt aus Polynesien, Gelb aus Australien, Weiß aus Indonesien oder Blau aus Neuseeland.
Pascal Michelot schuf viele Objekte: Schmuck, Lampen, Skulpturen und entwickelte auch eine Restaurierung von Objekten, die der Empörung der Zeit ausgesetzt waren.
Ein seltenes Kunsthandwerk, das Sie im Maison Rabut im Herzen des mittelalterlichen Ortes Brancion entdecken können.
Zu beachten ist folgendes: Die Ausstellung ist vom 15. August bis 18. September von 11.00 bis 18.30 Uhr geöffnet.

Exhibition: the works of a mother-of-pearl craftsman
Originally from the mining area and having practised a thousand trades, Pascal Michelot has been dedicated to the work of mother-of-pearl for nearly 20 years.

Pascal Michelot
What interests him is the mother-of-pearl of the shells and only of natural color: black mother-of-pearl of Polynesia, yellow of Australia, white of Indonesia or blue of New Zealand.
Pascal Michelot created many objects: jewellery, lamps, sculptures and also developed an activity of restoration of objects that have suffered the outrages of time.
A rare craft to discover at the Rabut House, in the heart of the medieval site of Brancion.

Originario del bacino minerario e avendo praticato mille mestieri, Pascal Michelot si dedica al lavoro della madreperla da quasi 20 anni.

Pascal Michelot
Ciò che gli interessa particolarmente è la madreperla delle conchiglie e unicamente di colore naturale: madreperla nera della Polinesia, gialla dell'Australia, bianca dell'Indonesia o blu della Nuova Zelanda.
Pascal Michelot crea numerosi oggetti: gioielli, lampade, sculture e sviluppa anche un'attività di restauro degli oggetti che hanno subito gli oltraggi del tempo.
Un artigianato raro da scoprire alla Maison Rabut, nel cuore del sito medievale di Brancion.
