Domaine de Champgrenon

Witness(Baton) of a rich history(story), the Domain is a landscaped park of 17 hectares, open to walk and place of many events(demonstrations) of scale today. At origin, property belongs to Aimé de Rymon (1573-1645), prosecutor of king, cultivated Lord who makes establish the very beautiful door of the Sunset. Of this time(period) also date the detached house(flag) of entrance(entry) of the today restored Domain. Property passes then by alliance(wedding ring) to the family of Rambuteau to become at the beginning of the XIXth century a domain very within sight, estimated and visited by the local elite of which the family of Lamartine. The Domain grows rich of a landscaped park realised by Jean-Marie Morel, of a coolbox and an one orangery. In 1997, it is acquired by the city of Charnay-lès-Mâcon which commits(hires) from then on works of restoration of existent heritage (door of the sunset, coolbox, detached house(flag) of entrance(entry), buildings(ships) of farm, well) and in fact a place of cultural events.
