Saint Christopher’s Cathedral
Saint-Christophe became a cathedral in 1979 when the diocese of Belfort-Montbéliard was created.

Built on the plans of Jacques Philippe Mareschal, a royal engineer, and opened for worship in 1750, Saint-Christophe was first conceived as an abbey church. It was honoured as a minor basilica in 1952 and became a cathedral in 1979 when the diocese of Belfort-Montbéliard was created.
Its organ, installed in 1752, is also listed as a Historical Monument.
To note : Free access, Saturday and Sunday from 9 am to 6 pm (Sunday services at 10 am and 6.30 pm) The Friends of the Organ and Music of Belfort organize a concert by Emmanuel Georges
