Fort Lestal is a former military fort known as a ban. It is part of the square of Albertville and prevented its circumvention by the Beaufortain or the Val d'Arly. It is part of the so-called Seré de Rivière defence system. It was built between 1875 and 1885. It has been virtually abandoned since its sale to a German individual. It is being bought back by a collective citizen. They are the ones who open the doors and make you discover it.
