In 1471, a convent of the Cordeliers was founded in Cluses to "drive out heresy". A building was built a few decades later. The religious left for the French Revolution. After the town burned down in 1844, the old convent chapel became the parish church of Cluses. Inside, one can still admire: the stony stout in flamboyant Gothic style, the Calvary in baroque style. The church was renovated in the early 1960s by the architect Novarina.
