Les Amis d'Espinasse

The Friends of Espinasse propose you Saturday and Sunday: - Free or accompanied visits of the church Saint-Blaise in the village and the sanctuary of Notre-Dame d'Espinasse (its church, inscribed with the title of Historical Monuments, its chapel, its Romanesque virgins in polychrome wood, its source, its Sully lime tree) Discovery of history, restoration and "small" treasures through various illustrations on these buildings.
The inseparable wood of our heritage will be highlighted through: - a photo exhibition on the "so-called" remarkable trees, including the Espinasse linden and the Puymillier mulberry of the commune. - an exhibition of old wooden toys - large wooden games for young and old.
On Saturday, we will also welcome the pilgrimage of the Fathers of the Family who will celebrate a Mass in the middle of the afternoon and around 7 pm open to all.

The peaceful sanctuary of Notre-Dame d'Espinasse is located in a natural setting. It includes a 15th century church, listed as historical monuments, its restored chapel, its "miraculous" source, its Sully lime tree and its two Romanesque virgins of the 12th and 13th centuries housed in the Church of Saint Blaise.
