Built between 1937 and 1947, on the initiative of Canon Jean Devémy (1896-1981), on the commission of Monsignor Florent du Bois de la Villerabel, bishop of Annecy and president of the diocesan association of Annecy. This church, perched at an altitude of 1,000 metres, was built for the care of the sick and the sedentary staff of the Assy plateau. This mountain church is designed in the image of the robust Savoyard cottages, resistant to strong weights of snow. A campanile of twenty-eight meters high, in accordance with the architecture of the landscape, revives and lightens the structure. Eight massive pillars support a five-metre deep canopy. The interior looks like a Romanesque chapel, with a rectangular nave flanked by two aisles. The choir, in hemicycle, is surrounded by an ambulatory and overlooks the crypt.
