The AAATV is an association that took over the management of the former machine depot rue Pierre Semard after the decommissioning by the SNCF. The goal is to preserve and enhance this site and the equipment that is located there and the memory trail (2,500 agents in 1960): roundhouse and swing bridge classified as heritage; rolling stock (railcars, emergency train, cockerill crane, CR 8, Moyse locotractor, diesel 6900, snowplow); museum space memories (numerous and diverse documents and small objects recalling the railway past); model of the depot in the 1950s; traffic of a train between Montluçon and Gannat (classified viaducts).
