The Chapel of Our Lady of Grace, or Chapel of Ragès, is located in the heart of the hamlet of Ragès in Sonnaz in Savoy, CLOSE to a beautiful wash-house of the eighteenth century. It dates back to 1682, with its facade in mesh and its monumental painting of the eighteenth century with pediment classified as an object Historical Monument since 1983\. Originally called the Chapel of the Virgin, it was founded in 1682 by Gabriel Beyvin, a priest, on the site of an old chapel. It is found in the 19th century under the name of the Visitation of Notre-Dame. It is now called Notre-Dame de Grâce. Originally owned by a Sonnazian family, it was thus enclosed in the property. In 1938, it was part of a succession and was sold to the parish priest of Sonnaz, who in turn ceded it to the diocese of Chambéry.
