On March 7, 1815, on the plateau of Brié-et-Angonnes, Colonel Charles de Labédoyère, at the head of the 7th Regiment of Line, rallied to Napoleon on his return from the Island of Elba. A monument, built in 1996 in the park of the Hauts du Moulin in Tavernolles, and objects preserved in town hall recall this historic meeting. The fragmentary books of the Ancien Régime and the Napoleonic cadastre of 1822, restored, will be exceptionally exposed to the public on this occasion.
