The "Cities and Countries of Art and History" label marks the national recognition of a territorial project that places heritage and architecture – its knowledge and valorization, as an essential element of cultural policy and urban development.
Visiting hours: 9.30-11.00/ 11.30-1.00/ 2.00-3.30 pm.

The cathedral Saint-Peter of Annecy was built by Jacques Rossel at the beginning of the XVIth century, she served first as chapel to the convent of the Franciscans. It was transformed into temple of the goddess Reason under Revolution then became again cathedral in 1822\. Organ of 1842 compound(made up) of 2 000 tubes, for a 10 ton weight, was inaugurated on November 19th, 1994.
