Können wir die Mythen der Vorgeschichte finden? Es wurde oft gesagt, dass Mythen und Geschichten «durch die Jahrhunderte» gegangen sind oder dass ihre Übertragung auf die Vorgeschichte zurückgehen würde. Wie kann man solche Behauptungen beweisen? Wie sieht es wirklich aus? Kann man in einer mündlichen Tradition wirklich so weit zurückgehen? Wir werden sehen, dass es möglich ist, nachzuweisen, dass einige der ursprünglichen Mythen seit Zehntausenden von Jahren weitergegeben werden und dass es sogar möglich ist, ihre Ausbreitungswege auf dem Globus wiederzufinden. Einige von ihnen haben die Menschheit von Anfang an durch all ihre Wanderungen begleitet. Die Maler von Lascaux haben sie wahrscheinlich gekannt, und sie sind noch heute bekannt.

Can we find the myths of prehistory? It has often been said that myths and tales have “gone through the centuries”, or even that their transmission goes back to prehistoric times. How can we prove such statements? What is really going on? Can we really go back that far in an oral tradition? We will see that it is possible to show that certain myths of origin have been transmitted for tens of thousands of years and that it is even possible to find their paths of diffusion on the globe. Some of them have accompanied humanity from the beginning, through all its wanderings. The painters of Lascaux probably knew them, and they are still told today.

Si possono ritrovare i miti della Preistoria? Si è spesso detto che miti e racconti hanno «attraversato i secoli», o addirittura che la loro trasmissione risalirebbe alla preistoria. Come dimostrare queste affermazioni? Che dire? Si può davvero risalire così lontano in una tradizione orale? Vedremo che è possibile dimostrare che alcuni miti originali sono stati trasmessi per diverse decine di migliaia di anni e che è anche possibile ritrovare le loro vie di diffusione sul globo. Alcuni di loro hanno accompagnato l'umanità fin dall'origine, attraverso tutte le sue peregrinazioni. I pittori di Lascaux probabilmente li hanno conosciuti, e sono ancora contusi al giorno d'oggi.

Peut-on retrouver les mythes de la Préhistoire ? On a souvent dit que les mythes et les contes ont « traversé les siècles », ou même que leur transmission remonterait à la Préhistoire. Comment prouver de telles affirmations ? Qu’en est-il vraiment ? Peut-on vraiment remonter aussi loin dans une tradition orale ? Nous verrons qu’il est possible de démontrer que certains mythes d’origine sont transmis depuis plusieurs dizaines de milliers d’années et qu’il est même possible de retrouver leurs voies de diffusion sur le globe. Certains d’entre eux ont accompagné l’humanité depuis l’origine, à travers toutes ses pérégrinations. Les peintres de Lascaux les ont probablement connus, et ils sont encore contés de nos jours.

¿Podemos encontrar los mitos de la Prehistoria? A menudo se ha dicho que los mitos y los cuentos «atravesaron los siglos», o incluso que su transmisión se remontaría a la Prehistoria. ¿Cómo se pueden probar tales afirmaciones? ¿Qué ocurre realmente? ¿Se puede realmente remontar hasta una tradición oral? Veremos que es posible demostrar que algunos mitos de origen se transmiten desde hace varias decenas de miles de años y que incluso es posible encontrar sus vías de difusión en el globo. Algunos de ellos han acompañado a la humanidad desde el principio, a través de todas sus peregrinaciones. Los pintores de Lascaux probablemente los conocieron, y todavía se cuentan hoy en día.
