The return of fragrances of care and well-being
by Annick Le Guérer, anthropologist and perfume and odor specialist.
Today, after a long eclipse, in line with the growing demand for natural products and environmental protection, we are witnessing a return to aromatherapy and herbal medicine. Many hospitals use it to soothe, treat skin diseases, strengthen memory, etc. The scents even enter the operating rooms to reduce the amount of anesthetics! Proof that therapeutic fragrances are resuming their place in our society.
Meet Annick Le Guérer, scientific curator of the new museum route of the museum of Saint-Antoine-l'Abbaye, History perfumes, for an enlightened discovery of today’s skincare fragrances.
