Five kilometres from Mont-Saint-Michel, on the continent, is the first priory of the abbey, which had more than 50 priories throughout Europe. Historically the Abbey’s granary, the resting place of the monks and the welcoming place of the pilgrims of the Mont, known as the Miquelots, the Priory, located on Ardevon, comes alive, under the impetus of the Fondation du Mont-Saint-Michel: in addition to the reception in dormitory or bivouac of groups that come to discover the Mont-Saint-Michel and its bay, the Priory develops cultural and spiritual proposals throughout the year, open to all.
