It is in the park of the castle that the municipal library invites you to a walk animated by the association Antirouille. Guided by storytellers, take the time to enjoy for two hours this calm and soothing setting. Their steps will take you on paths full of history, their stories on imaginary and enchanting paths. During this walk, you will be able to fully appreciate the diversity of the natural spaces of the places and the richness of the repertoire of your guides. This meeting on Saturday 18 September, has for theme the holidays, in connection with the exhibition photography at the castle of Flamanville. Animation is available to all from 7 years old, young children must be accompanied by an adult.

The Castle of Flamanville dates mainly from the seventeenth century, but the existence of a vast seigneurial property is attested from the fourteenth century.
Built in grey granite extracted from the nearby cliff between 1654 and 1658 by Hervé Basan, this owner wishes a residence worthy of his title of marquis recently awarded by Louis XIV.
Château Park The Château de Flamanville is surrounded by a park of about twenty hectares enriched with woods, ponds and a magnificent octagonal tower. Throughout the year, enjoy a park of about twenty hectares offering many varieties of flowers, plants and trees. At the edge of the ponds, the giant Gunnéras from Chile and the Trachycarpus Fortunei palms give a very North-Cotentine exotic touch.
The castle park opens its doors free of charge throughout the year. Prefer the flowering period from late August to September to enjoy a sumptuous show in the dahlias garden.
