Attend a round table on the theme "Comic Strip Archives" on the occasion of the European Heritage Days.

In connection with the exhibition "Archives en bande dessinée, de la représentation à la réalité" (a guided tour of which is organized the same day at 2 pm), a round table will bring together:

  • Emmanuel Bosca, curator of the exhibition, deputy director of the Departmental Archives;
  • Eric Albert, illustrator-colorist (most recently for the comic strip Louise Petitbouchon and for Marcas, master freemason);
  • Jean Depelley, scriptwriter (most recently for the comic strip Louise Petitbouchon) and historian of cinema and comics.

Since 1986, the Archives is one of the directorates of the General Council of the Corrèze in application of the provisions of the law of 22 July 1983 on decentralization, placed for scientific and technical control, under the supervision of the Ministry of Culture.
The archives of the Corrèze have been installed in various places in Tulle:
* 1790: installation in the attic of the former church of the convent of Feuillants (City of Bournazel today) became prefecture in 1800;
* 1874: move to the top floor of the Prefecture, rue Souham;
* 1913-1914: construction of a special building on Souham Street with 3 km of shelving;
* 1954-1956: upgrade and extension of the building (3 additional km of shelving);
* 1975-1980: construction of the new depot in Touron.
