3D innovations at the service of the Heritage renovation.

As part of the European Heritage Days, the city of Floirac, the ASVPF and Bimotep are teaming up to share the history of the Church of Saint Vincent and its digital twin.
There is a growing association between old stones and new technologies. Thanks to methods of extreme modernity, we discover whole parts of our heritage that had disappeared, we restore it in its historical context, we perceive it better, we reclaim it.
Monuments reveal things previously unknown, 3D models, computer-generated images, establish an accurate diagnosis of the state of a building before its restoration. This allows, among other things, to obtain a model that proposes a new interpretation of the building, which is probably more comprehensive and helps its understanding. The interactive model integrates all the subtleties and deficiencies of the building, thus revealing the body of knowledge.
Come and meet the team of Bimotep, floiracaise company, which has carried out the complete inventory of the building. She will present the 3D restitution through various workshops.
On the program:

• Guided visits to the church (history, architecture, furniture, etc.)
• Exhibition on new technologies and innovative processes for the preservation and enhancement of the Heritage
• Presentation of the 3D modeling of the church of Saint-Vincent de Floirac
• Digital workshops: virtual reality, 3D scanner, photogrammetry
• Presence of various representatives of the skilled trades in heritage restoration who will testify to their experiences
• Concert on Saturday evening, from 6;30pm to 8:30pm, by reservation!
