Discover the 12th century Romanesque sanctuary and the 14th century Gothic nave.
At 3 km east of the perched village of Clermont-Dessous, the hamlet of Saint-Médard is located in the heart of the Lot-et-Garonne countryside, where orchards gild their fruits in the sun. In its centre, the church of Saint-Médard is a beautiful stone building dating from the XII and XIV centuries.
Before entering, walk around and discover one of its peculiarities: the building has a Romanesque bedside with carved modillions and a Gothic nave, which replaced the Romanesque nave at the end of the 15th century. Then pass under the quadrangular bell tower-porch to discover the interior of the church of Saint-Médard.
