La Remuée takes its name from the move of the village to its present place, along the Roman road Lillebonne - Harfleur, where the church is built in the 13th century. There remains the white stone choir, with fine sculptures, strongly reworked over the centuries. The structure of the bell tower, built in the 18th century and housing three bells, is the work of Deshayes, the charpentier of the abbey of Montivilliers. The nave and side chapels of 1866 were designed by the Saint-Romanese architect Venambre.
Unlike the outside, the beautiful homogeneity of the inside seduces. The nave is illuminated by two series of brightly coloured modern stained glass windows, from the 1950s, signed Gaillard. The left-hand side chapel is dedicated to Saint Meen, once the object of an important pilgrimage. The altar donated by «the good Lady of Ectot», a great local benefactor, is decorated with copies of Titian, made in 1784 by the painter Horses.
In the adjacent cemetery (against the bell tower), is the tombstone of Anne Delamare (1789), owner of the Château de la Maréfosse, who fed the poor of the parish and distributed her wheat in case of shortage. She built a school for the education of girls, where care was also given to the sick. She also donated a manor house to the parish to replace the rectory destroyed in a fire. It is today the town hall which presents a charming facade end eighteenth century surmounted by the arms of this benefactress.
