A product of two distinct periods of construction, the City Hall illustrates both the neo-Renaissance style, inspired by the model that constituted the Paris City Hall at the beginning of the Third Republic, and the Art Deco style, by the remarkable interior improvements made during its expansion in the 1930s. Some exceptional decorations have earned this building numerous classification measures under the title of Historical Monuments.
