The La Garenne switch station is located near the La Garenne train station. It is a post dating from 1961: it is one of the last large lever posts put into service. It is a "unified mechanical electro" post.
The purpose of this visit is to present the position and its operation to the public.
Visit and discovery of the operating room of the La Garenne switch station. The officers present will ensure:
- Reception in the operational room;
- Presentation of the organisation;
- Presentation of the technology of the post;
- Presentation of the geographical area of action;
- Presentation of the transport plan;
- Presentation of our assistance to operations;
- Exchanges around incident / incivility management;
- Handling of levers.
The event takes place on Friday 17 September (for school children) and Sunday 19 September (for the public). Registration is done via the JEP 2020 SNCF registration platform.

For security reasons, 5 people per slot are allowed in the referral station.
The time slots for the public on Sunday are: - From 10.30 AM to 1.15 PM
- From 2.30 PM to 5.15 PM
Pets are not allowed in the station.
Children must be accompanied by an adult and are under his responsibility.
